Money is very good. We all know what money can do. Money can do bad things as well. This is because every good thing has it’s bad side. There can never be positive without negative.
The fact is money is not the greatest gift on Earth.
It is just a means to an end. Bob Marley was one of the most gifted human beings to have graced the surface of this planet, Earth. Conservative estimates put his wealth around US$30 million at the time of his death in May, 1981.
Is Bob Marley remembered for the money he made when he was alive? A lot of people made more money than he did at the time, but history does not remember them. Bob Marley is well remembered for the positive impact his philosophical and prophetic music had and continues to have on humanity. Decades after Bob Marley’s death, he is still more popular than the current president of his country.
The same goes for Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela(the humanist), Martin Luther King Jr, Socrates, etc. These men left indelible positive marks on earth.
There is a clear distinction between money and greatness.
The greatness of a man is in the positive impact he has on humanity and not the amount of money he accumulates on earth.
