I believe strongly that most of Bob Marley’s thoughts and philosophies were shaped by the unpleasant environment in which he grew up(the streets and slums of St Ann and Kingston, Jamaica), his difficult upbringing, bitter experiences, coupled with his natural gift of insight.
It all started in 1997 and further being enhanced in 1998 by the kind of articles and books i was always attracted to read but it was not until 1999 that i realised i had a special gift.
This was enhanced by the harsh realities i encountered and endured in my early stages of life. I always asked why the heavenly father would allow me encounter those harsh and unpleasant experiences as a growing up boy. Today i knew it was for a purpose when i looked back.
I have never being fond of my three years in senior high school. It was full of challenges from start to finish. Challenges i overcame after school.
In my young life, i have been to so many places, i have met all kinds of people, i have encountered the harsh realities of life. I have tasted defeat and victory on countless ocassions. I have endured lots of disappointments and suffering. I have read all kinds of books. I have also learnt from other people’s life experiences. I became abreast with the realities of life at a tender age. A lot more of these experiences and the special gift of nature shaped my thoughts today.
The most wonderful and gifted people who have ever graced the surface of this planet, Earth, have encountered, endured and rose above several unpleasant situations in their lives, which really shaped them.
