The Realities Of Life

When the young Patrice Lumumba, led DR Congo(formerly Zaire), to attain independence from Belgium, in the early 1960s, there were comrades and compatriots of his, who sacrificed and toiled with him, during the struggle.
Even Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, gave him some pieces of advice, in Ghana, during the struggle.
But at the end of the day, mr. Patrice Lumumba, received all(or more) of the credits and the accolades, because he was the leader.

On the other hand, when the Brazilian national football team, led by coach Dunga, failed to progress from the group stage of the Copa America Centenary, in the U.S.A., in 2016, he(coach) was shown the exit door, after the tournament, despite not being actively involved on the pitch.

In life, a leader always takes more credits and accolades, for the successes, and likewise more condemnations and vilifications, for the failures, of a group, in any endeavour, even if that leader is not involved alone.
